Flexible Bounce and Swivel Lighting

One of the main advantages of the VISICO VS 765 Speedlite is its adjustable flash head. The head tilts up to 90° upward and 7° downward, while rotating 180° to the left and right. This flexibility helps photographers direct light towards ceilings or nearby surfaces for bounce flash photography.

Bouncing the flash can produce softer, more natural-looking illumination than pointing the flash directly at a subject. This is particularly useful for indoor portraits, family photography, weddings, interviews, and event coverage. The adjustable head also gives photographers more control over the direction and character of light when working in different environments.

High-Speed Sync for Creative Photography

The VISICO VS 765 supports high-speed synchronisation up to 1/8000 second, depending on the camera body and compatible flash setup. This feature can help photographers use wider apertures in bright conditions while retaining flash illumination.

High-speed sync is useful for outdoor portraits, where controlling background exposure and creating a softer background blur can be important. It also provides greater flexibility when balancing flash output with available light.

The speedlite additionally supports first-curtain and second-curtain synchronisation. These modes allow photographers to control when the flash fires during an exposure, making them useful for creative motion photography, including moving subjects and scenes featuring light trails.

Adjustable Manual Flash Power and Exposure Compensation

The VISICO VS 765 offers manual flash output ranging from 1/128 power to full power at 1/1, adjustable in 1/3-stop increments. This range gives photographers control over the amount of light produced by the flash.

Lower power settings are useful for close-up photography, fill lighting, and situations where subtle illumination is required. Higher settings can provide stronger light output when photographing subjects at greater distances or working in environments with challenging lighting.

Flash exposure compensation is adjustable between -3 and +3 stops in 1/3-stop increments. This helps photographers fine-tune flash brightness to suit the subject and surrounding environment.

Stroboscopic Flash for Creative Effects

The stroboscopic flash function supports up to 50 flashes at a frequency of 100Hz. This capability can be used to capture multiple phases of movement within a single exposure, producing creative sequences of a moving subject.

It can be useful for experimental sports photography, dance movement, motion studies, and other creative projects where repeated flash bursts help illustrate movement. Results depend on the selected exposure settings, flash output, and shooting conditions.

Wireless Transmission and Flash Status Indicators

With an effective transmission distance of up to 25 metres, the VISICO VS 765 offers flexibility for supported wireless flash arrangements. Photographers can use compatible setups to explore off-camera lighting and position the flash away from the camera when the equipment configuration allows.

The speedlite also features a slave-flash ready indicator, which uses two blinking red indicators to signal readiness. This visual feedback can help photographers monitor flash status during a shoot.

Ideal Applications for the VISICO VS 765 Speedlite

The VISICO VS 765 is suitable for a variety of photography applications, including:

Portrait Photography

Use adjustable bounce lighting and flash exposure compensation to create more balanced portraits indoors or in suitable outdoor conditions.
