BOYA BY-PB25 Universal Carbon Fiber Boompole with Internal XLR Cable (8.2 ft)

Product Description

The BOYA BY-PB25 Universal Carbon Fiber Boompole with Internal XLR Cable is a professional audio recording accessory designed to help filmmakers, sound recordists, videographers, and content creators capture clear audio during video production. Built with lightweight carbon fiber, this adjustable boompole provides the reach, flexibility, and convenience required for interviews, documentaries, film sets, television productions, and other professional recording applications.

With an extension range of 1 metre (3.3 feet) to 2.5 metres (8.2 feet), the BOYA BY-PB25 allows users to position a compatible microphone closer to the intended sound source while keeping the operator comfortably outside the camera frame. Its telescoping design makes it practical for both indoor and outdoor recording, especially when microphone placement needs to change quickly between scenes.

The integrated internal coiled XLR cable helps maintain a neat setup by reducing the need for an external cable running along the outside of the pole. Combined with its padded handle and secure twist-lock mechanism, this boompole is a convenient solution for audio professionals seeking efficient microphone positioning and a portable recording setup.

Lightweight Carbon Fiber Design for Professional Recording

The BOYA BY-PB25 is designed for sound professionals who need a portable and manageable microphone support system. Its carbon fiber construction helps reduce the burden of holding a boom pole during lengthy interviews, film shoots, and event recordings.

A lightweight boompole is particularly useful when recording dialogue overhead, capturing ambient sounds, or positioning a microphone above subjects without obstructing the camera’s view. The BY-PB25 provides an extended reach while remaining convenient to transport between locations.

Adjustable Length for Flexible Microphone Placement

The three-section telescoping design enables users to adjust the pole according to the recording environment. At its shorter length of 1 metre, the boompole is suitable for situations where close microphone positioning is required. When additional reach is needed, it extends up to 2.5 metres, making it easier to position a microphone above a subject or further away from the operator.

The twist-lock mechanism helps hold the selected length during use. This flexibility makes the BOYA BY-PB25 a useful accessory for interviews, dialogue recording, documentary filmmaking, short films, and commercial video production.

Internal XLR Cable for a Neater Setup

Cable management is important when working with professional audio equipment. The BOYA BY-PB25 incorporates an internal coiled XLR cable to help keep the cable organised within the pole rather than exposed along its exterior.

This design reduces cable clutter and can make handling more convenient during recording. The bottom XLR connection also provides an accessible connection point for compatible audio equipment.

For best results, confirm that your microphone, XLR connection, and recording device are compatible with the intended setup before beginning production.

Comfortable Handling and Versatile Mounting

The padded neoprene handle is designed to provide a comfortable grip while the operator holds the boompole in position. This is particularly helpful when recording dialogue or ambient sound for extended periods.

The included 1/4-inch threaded stud, 3/8-inch adapter, and 5/8-inch adapter support a range of compatible mounting accessories. Always check the mounting requirements of your microphone holder or shock mount to ensure a secure fit.

Ideal Applications of the BOYA BY-PB25

The BOYA BY-PB25 Universal Carbon Fiber Boompole is suitable for a variety of audio recording environments, including:

• Film and television production.
• Interviews and documentaries.
• YouTube videos and online content creation.
• Corporate videos and promotional productions.
• Short films and independent filmmaking.
• Event videography and behind-the-scenes recording.
• Studio dialogue and location sound recording.
• Educational videos and digital media production.

Its adjustable design and internal cable make it a practical addition to a professional sound recording kit, particularly for users who need to position microphones accurately while maintaining a clean production setup.
