High-Quality Wireless 4K Video Transmission

The Hollyland Mars 4K is designed to transmit high-resolution video wirelessly, reducing the need for long video cables between cameras and monitoring stations. With support for UHD 4K at 30 fps, it helps production teams view detailed footage while maintaining a more flexible shooting environment.

Wireless transmission is particularly useful when cameras are mounted on stabilizers, positioned in hard-to-reach locations, or moved frequently during recording. Directors and clients can monitor footage without needing to stand beside the camera operator, improving coordination throughout the production process.

The system also supports a data rate of up to 12 Mb/s, depending on the operating mode and transmission conditions.

HDMI and SDI Connectivity for Professional Workflows

The inclusion of HDMI and SDI interfaces makes the Hollyland Mars 4K a versatile option for professional video equipment. HDMI is commonly used with mirrorless cameras, DSLR cameras, and consumer or professional monitors, while SDI is widely adopted in broadcast and production environments.

These connection options allow users to integrate the transmitter and receiver into compatible camera and monitoring systems. Before purchasing, confirm the supported resolution, frame rate, and input/output requirements of your equipment to ensure the best possible compatibility.

Reliable Monitoring with Low Latency

In video production, monitoring delays can affect camera operation, focus adjustments, and communication between production team members. The Hollyland Mars 4K offers low-latency transmission of approximately 0.06 seconds, helping provide a responsive viewing experience.

This makes the system useful for directors monitoring scenes, camera assistants checking focus, and clients reviewing footage during a shoot. Actual latency and wireless performance may vary according to the selected video format, distance, interference, and surrounding environment.

Smart Channel Scanning and Touchscreen Control

Wireless video systems operate in environments where other wireless devices may cause interference. The Hollyland Mars 4K features smart channel scanning to help users identify suitable channels for transmission.

Its touchscreen LCD makes it easier to access settings and manage the system without relying entirely on external controls. These features help production teams configure their equipment efficiently, particularly when working under time constraints or moving between shooting locations.

Flexible Power Options for Studio and Outdoor Use

The Hollyland Mars 4K supports DC power, Sony L-Series battery power, and USB Type-C power, subject to the requirements of the individual unit and compatible accessories.

DC power is convenient for studio installations and longer recording sessions, while compatible L-Series batteries can support mobile shooting setups. USB Type-C power provides another option where the connected power source meets the device’s requirements.

This flexibility makes the system suitable for both stationary monitoring arrangements and mobile video production workflows.

Monitor Footage on Compatible Mobile Devices

The Hollyland Mars 4K can transmit video to up to four compatible monitoring apps, giving production teams additional viewing options without requiring a dedicated monitor for every person.

This capability can be particularly valuable during interviews, commercial shoots, filmmaking, and online content production. Directors, clients, and other crew members can view footage on supported devices, helping improve collaboration and reduce unnecessary movement around the camera setup.

Compatibility and available monitoring features depend on the supported application, device, and system configuration.
