Professional Lighting for Photography and Video

Soft, Controlled Illumination

The Phottix Raja 60cm Softbox helps soften the light produced by a compatible flash or continuous light source. Its diffusion layers spread illumination across the subject, helping reduce hard shadows and create a more flattering appearance.

This makes it useful for portrait photography, beauty shots, product images, and professional video production. The softbox can also help create more consistent lighting when photographing multiple products for an e-commerce website.

Reflective Silver Interior

The reflective silver interior is designed to maximise the efficient use of light within the softbox. It directs light towards the diffusion panel, helping produce bright, controlled illumination while maintaining the ability to shape the lighting on your subject.

For product photographers, this can help highlight details, textures, and finishes. For portrait photographers, it provides a practical lighting solution for illuminating faces and other subjects.

Adjustable Diffusion for Different Applications

The removable inner baffle and front diffuser give photographers flexibility when shaping their light. The inner baffle provides an additional diffusion stage, helping create smoother illumination, while the front diffuser further softens the output.

Depending on the lighting setup and subject, users can configure the diffusion layers to achieve their preferred balance of softness, brightness, and contrast.

Quick Setup and Convenient Portability

Umbrella-Style Opening Mechanism

Setting up lighting equipment should not slow down a photography session. The Phottix Raja 60cm is designed to open like an umbrella, simplifying assembly and making it practical for photographers who need to change locations or adjust their studio arrangements frequently.

Its compact size is especially useful in home studios, small commercial studios, product photography stations, and mobile production environments.

Bowens S-Mount Compatibility

The included Bowens S-mount speed ring enables mounting on compatible Bowens S-type lighting fixtures. This widely used mounting format makes the softbox a practical option for photographers working with compatible studio flashes and continuous lights.

Before purchasing, confirm that your lighting fixture supports the required Bowens S-type mount and that the intended light source is suitable for use with this softbox.

Heat-Resistant Construction and Carrying Bag

The Phottix Raja 60cm uses heat-resistant material intended for compatible lighting applications. Always follow the operating temperature limits and safety recommendations for both the softbox and your light source.

The supplied carrying bag makes it easier to store the equipment neatly and transport it between shoots, helping keep your lighting accessories organised.
