Fast and Convenient Umbrella-Style Setup

Assemble Your Lighting Equipment in Seconds

One of the standout features of the Phottix Raja 60x120cm Softbox is its umbrella-style setup. Unlike lighting modifiers that require extensive assembly, the Raja is designed to open quickly for convenient use during photography sessions.

Simply open the softbox, install the baffle, diffuser, and grid as required, and mount it onto a compatible studio light. This straightforward process helps photographers spend less time preparing equipment and more time capturing images.

The quick setup is especially useful for event photographers, commercial studios, and production teams working with tight schedules. It also makes the softbox a practical option for photographers who frequently move between different locations.

One-Piece Construction for Easy Handling

The Raja’s one-piece design eliminates the need for a separate speed ring, reducing the number of components required for setup. This makes the lighting modifier easier to handle, pack, and transport.

Fewer separate components can also simplify equipment management when working on location or carrying multiple lighting accessories. The design supports an efficient workflow for professionals who need portable and dependable lighting equipment.

Professional Lighting Control for Creative Work

Portrait and Fashion Photography

The rectangular shape of the Phottix Raja 60x120cm Softbox is ideal for portrait and fashion photography. Its elongated profile allows photographers to illuminate a subject across a larger vertical area, helping create attractive highlights and controlled shadow transitions.

When positioned appropriately, the softbox can help produce flattering light on faces, clothing, and body contours. Fashion photographers can use it to showcase garment details, textures, and shapes for editorial images, advertising campaigns, and professional portfolios.

Product Photography and Commercial Shoots

Consistent lighting is essential when photographing products for online stores, business catalogues, and marketing materials. The Phottix Raja 60x120cm Softbox helps create controlled illumination for products such as electronics, accessories, clothing, and other retail items.

Its rectangular shape is useful for producing elongated reflections on reflective surfaces and illuminating taller objects. Photographers can adjust the position and direction of the light to achieve the desired appearance while managing harsh highlights and unwanted shadows.

Video Production and Content Creation

The Phottix Raja softbox can also be used in compatible video lighting setups for interviews, promotional videos, product demonstrations, and studio content. Its ability to modify light helps creators achieve a more controlled and professional visual presentation.

Whether you are recording business videos, creating content for social media, or producing commercial material, this softbox can serve as part of a versatile lighting arrangement.

Included Grid for Better Light Direction

The Phottix Raja 60x120cm Softbox includes a grid that helps restrict light spill and direct illumination towards the subject. This is particularly useful when working in small studios, creating dramatic portraits, or separating a subject from the background.

By helping prevent light from spreading unnecessarily across the scene, the grid gives photographers greater control over contrast and the overall lighting effect. It is a valuable accessory for photographers who want to refine their lighting without purchasing a separate grid.

The included baffle and diffuser provide additional options for modifying the light output to suit different subjects and creative requirements.

Durable Construction and Travel-Friendly Design

Professional photography equipment must remain practical during repeated use and transportation. The Phottix Raja 60x120cm Softbox features professional-grade materials designed to withstand the demands associated with location shoots and travel.

Its zippered carry case protects the softbox during storage and makes transportation more convenient. The size and series identifiers on the side of the case also help photographers quickly distinguish their equipment when managing several lighting modifiers.

These features make the Raja a suitable choice for photography studios, freelance photographers, production companies, and content creators who need a portable lighting solution.

Bowens-Style S-Mount Compatibility

The Phottix Raja 60x120cm Softbox includes a Bowens-style S-mount attachment for use with compatible lighting equipment. This mounting system is commonly used with a range of studio lights and flash systems.

Before purchasing, verify that your studio light supports the Bowens S-type mount and that the softbox is suitable for your particular lighting setup. Always follow the manufacturer’s mounting and operating instructions to ensure secure installation.

Why Choose the Phottix Raja 60x120cm Softbox?

The Phottix Raja 60x120cm Softbox combines rapid umbrella-style assembly, professional-grade construction, integrated light-control accessories, and a portable design.
